The Raiders won again tonight. They improved to 2-0 in preseason. With :05 seconds left the vikings coach went for the win and rather than the FG try to send it into overtime, (Thank you Lord!) and came up short. Oakland looked a lot better than last week, but I still haven't seen Quaterback, Aaron Brooks do anything. Maybe the back-up, Andrew Walter, should be the starter?!?!? He did move the team pretty well. Whatever.... it's still pre-seaon week two. More to prove!
Why is Monday Night football starting at 5:00pm? I got home at 5:56pm and there was 11:27 left on the clock in the second quarter! FETCH! That sucks! I'm gonna have to ReplayTV every week!

Preseason MNF has always started at 5pm. But they are making a change. Usually regular season MNF starts at 6PST, but this year moving to ESPN it is at 5:30. Opening night Oakland gets a special 7:15 start, but is playing at 5:30 week 9 against Seattle. TIVO and skip commercials baby!!! MY thoughts: Chris Carr looks great in the return game. Brooks is not going to make it long before Walter takes over. He played a good game for the most part besides a few bonehead mistakes. He is young, and if he can get rid of those, will do well. Everyone has to play to learn to stop making the stupid throws. We should be better, but still have a long way to go before the playoffs. You heard it first here... BRADY QUINN!!!!!
