Jill got us a new desk for the office room downstairs. We needed it to put the home computer on. It got real old to be on the floor or sitting in a kids chair to use the computer. She got it at Target. Isn't Target the best store ever?!?!
McKay and Bryce love to help daddy out with projects. McKay did a great job helping me with the new kitchen table last week. They are BIG little helpers. With the whole family helping out to put this desk together, it only took us 47 Seconds to assemble. Really! See for yourself. Check it out. We are Fast!

new table.
We finally got a new kitchen table for our house. It's a Pier1 special. McKay helped me put it together too. You never know how much you use your kitchen table, until you don't have one. We didn't move our old one here. We gave it away. It took my wife some time to find one she liked.

Nice Gobos!
How was your Sunday Morning?
My Sunday morning was pretty good. I ran lights this morning for the first time at North Point Community Church. It was a lot of fun.
The Worship Leader, during rehearsal, said, "Nice Gobo's Guys!"
"Thanks!", I said to myself, with a big smile on my face. That was awesome!
Haven't ran a lighting console with moving lights in a while. I think the last time was in October 2007 with Live Light Inc. Anyways.... It went really well I think. I totally ROCKED the closer - Mighty to Save! It was a great service with Louie Giglio speaking. He wrapped up his two part series, Home Free: Even Me.
This was my view from the West Lighting Booth.
Sorry. I didn't take any live worship pictures. This photo is during the message. The HD center screen is a Live feed from the East Auditorium.
So... Tell me! How was your Sunday?!?!?

okc memorial
During our road trip to the ATL, we made a quick stop at the Oklahoma City Museum and Memorial. We had lunch at Markies Deli across the street. Then it was back on the road.

Loading The Moving Truck
It only took 12 people and two hours, to load a moving truck. Plus, we only took up 12' of truck space. YEAH! I filmed the load-in for fun. Fast forwarded the footage into 1min or so. Check it out. We were "taking care of business."

Last day at NewCov
Sunday, July 6th was my last day at New Covenant as the Creative and Technical Arts director. I had been serving in ministry at NCCC for over 12 years. I started out as a Youth Intern, then a became a Youth Pastor, and then later on I followed God's plan for my life and started doing Creative Arts. I had a three year break from "Full-Time ministry" while I worked at Live Light Inc. This is the place where I learned everything I know about entertainment and production.
It was a very sad day for me and my family as we said Goodbye to a great church that has been a major part of our lives. I made it though two services without tearing up to much. Even with a couple of shout-outs in the service from Pastor Jän and Pastor Pat. But after second service, Pat's wife gave me a big hug and then the tears started flowing. Then @cowtippinjosh showed me and the production team a video he put together. I then started to go into boo-whoo-whoo crying.
I will miss all my friends, volunteer and co-workers at New Covenant very much. I thank them for all their love and support thought out the years. I wish them all the best of Luck and I will continue to pray for them and their ministry at NewCov in FRESNO!
GOODBYE TO RANDY
