todays thoughts.

But the question is what do we do? How do we act as salt in our world? The answer lies in the way salt is used. Salt is both a seasoning and a preservative. It seasons by adding taste and enhancing flavor. It preserves by cleansing and retarding spoilage. In both cases, the salt must be brought in contact with it's object for its power to be realized. Sitting in the shaker, it does no good. It might just as well be thrown out.
