"It Must Be Football Season!"
Remember those "It Must Be Football Season!" commercials that 'Southwest Airlines' did?
Well... Here are some old spoofs we made about them for youth group nights at New Covenant back in the day! I thought it would be fun to share these now, because the SuperBowl is next weekend. (And we all know many of you only tune-in for the commercials and not the game.)
These were perfect youth group funny videos. They were short and easy to make. All 3 of them were made the day of youth group night and edited with iMovie on a iMac. I had a lot of fun back then working with my team of talented guys.
Which one do you like the most?

Compassion International
My wife (@jillparker) and I have been wanting to do this for a while now, but we haven't done it yet. Until now. Last night...we started sponsoring a child with COMPASSION.
It all started on Sunday Morning, at North Point, when Jill and I heard Andy Stanley's message on using your "extra money" for something great. Then later that night she watched a video over at WhittakerWoman's blog... then I watched it... and the rest is history.
MEET LOY
Please join us and sponsor a child too. It's only $32 a month. This money will make a difference in their lives. Actually 80% of the $32 goes toward meeting the physical, metal, social, economic, educational and spiritual needs of your sponsored child. And remember, a little will go a much longer way in a third world country.
We do not have "extra money" each month, but we figured out a way to make this happen. We canceled our home phone line and changed our cell phone plans to a lower package.
See... if we can do this, You can do this.
Check out the Compassion Blog HERE.

Praying for the President
Andy prays for the President.
He asks us to pray for the President.
And today, Andy prayed for the President in front of the President.I'm sure many of you didn’t know or didn't get to see this today. The Senior Pastor of North Point Community Church, Andy Stanley, prayed for The President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, at the National Prayer Service in Washington, DC. The service was held at the National Cathedral.
"Grant to Barack Obama, president of the United States, and to all in authority your grace and good will. Bless them with your heavenly gifts, give them wisdom and strength to know and to do your will." - Rev. Andy Stanley
