Trick-r-Treat

We had a fun family Halloween night. The boys got all dressed up and we headed over to The Petty's house for their annual 'chili cookoff' event. There was many other families there too. First we took all the kids out for 'trick-r-treating' and headed back to their house and had some of that chili and played with the kids. It was a lot of fun.

McKay was Buzz Lightyear.
Bryce was a Monkey.
Carson was a Bumble Bee.

phat phishes

Our Trip to the Georgia Aquarium today.

We finally did it. We made it out to the Georgia Aquarium today. And it was a blast! The boys really enjoyed the "petting zoo" part. They got to touch electric sting rays and a baby shark! Plus... we found Nemo and all his friends too.

Umm...bat coffee.

A new form of kopi luwak coffee?

Woman wakes up, should have smelled the coffee

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (AP) September 29, 2008 - It wasn't just the caffeine that gave an Iowa woman an extra jolt after she had her morning coffee. It was also the bat she found in the filter.

The Iowa Department of Public Health says the woman reported a bat in her house but wasn't too worried about it. She turned on her automatic coffee maker before bedtime and drank her coffee the next morning.

She discovered the bat in the filter when she went to clean it that night. The woman has undergone treatment for possible rabies.

Health officials say that the bat was sent to a lab but that its brain was too cooked by the hot water to determine whether it had rabies.

through the years

Randy Parker through the years ::: 1950-2000

This is a lot of fun. Go on and YearBook Yourself too. It's easy and a lot of laughs. I see: Austin Powers, Kurt Russell, Jerry Lee Lewis, and...?

Who do you see?
